CVC Hayle are supporting Macmillan Cancer Support by holding a Coffee Morning on Thursday 29th September at 10am – 12pm.
In Cornwall an estimated 3,494 a year are given the news they have cancer. It has been predicated that by 2030 there will be over 43,000 people living in Cornwall with the disease.
Macmillan provide all the help they can through their support centres and Support Line. They can answer questions on types of cancer and treatments and also provide financial support whilst people are living with cancer. Macmillan nurses are trained to provide the best cancer care possible during what is without a doubt a very emotional and stressful time in people’s lives. In order to keep carrying on this wonderful service they need all the donations they can get.
Here at CVC we are delighted to be able to support this worthwhile cause while at the same time get chance to meet our clients and colleagues and enjoy a slice of cake together.
