We are pleased to announce that Lesley Patrick, a Chartered Legal Executive in our Private Client team, has recently passed her Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) exam, qualifying her as an Associate Member.
SFE is an independent, national organisation of lawyers who specialise in advice for older and vulnerable people and their families and carers. As specialists, SFE members are also trained in older client care so that they are able to take into accountant difficulties both mental and physical which can affect older and vulnerable clients.
Lesley regularly deals with elderly clients in advising them on matters such as the preparation of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection applications and the administration of taxable and non-taxable estate amongst other things.
